The Asia Pacific Poker Tour Cambodia (APPT) is making its highly anticipated return to Phnom Penh this May. The APPT will take place from May 5 to May 15, 2023 in the NagaWorld resort, much to the delight of poker players across the region. It is expected to be one of the most prestigious poker events in Asia.
The APPT has a reputation for attracting top-notch players from around the world and providing a platform for some of the most thrilling and competitive games in the industry. The Asia Pacific Poker Tour Cambodia Events
The main event of the APPT will take place on May 12, when most players have been eliminated. This event will run for four days and has an entrance fee of KRW 2 million or about $1,500. While expensive, the prizes more than cover the entrance fees. One of the APPT winners in 2022 won twenty times that entrance fee for his grand prize!
While the main event may be the highlight of the tournament, the APPT also offers a variety of other events that cater to different types of players

Venue of the APPT Cambodia
The Asia Pacific Poker Tour Cambodia is actually starting off its tour here in Cambodia before moving to other countries. That means it needs to get a strong start, which is why the event will be held at the stunning NagaWorld Integrated Resort. The resort is one of the largest and most luxurious hotels in the country and is the only casino in the capital of Phnom Penh.
The resort is over 10,000 square meters in size which allow it to house all the poker players arriving for the Asia Pacific Poker Tour Cambodia. Aside from just being big, there is also a lot going on, and is known for its amazing amenities such as restaurants, nightclubs, spas, and even a theatre. These accommodations have made the resort world-class, making it the perfect place to host such a prestigious event.
Winners APPT Cambodia 2022
While there isn’t too much information about what will happen this May, you can get an idea of what is in store based on last year’s events. In 2022 the Asia Pacific Poker Tour Cambodia was held last year in November. During the APPT national event, the winners were the Korean UPP Team.
The Asia Pacific Poker Tour was an exciting event for its participants, including Lee Seong-Min, who won the grand prize of $30,000 or nearly 40 million Won. Another talented player was Kim Nam-hyuan, who performed exceptionally well and achieved 10th place in the main event. This set the record for the highest ranking achieved by any Korean player in the tournament.
